Yeah, yeah – that’s why this is Volume 1. If I put up all the selected shots in one shot, your eyes would pop out of your head…

Damn! Greg got some great shots!
“If I put up all the selected shots in one shot, your eyes would pop out of your head…”
Indeed! Beautiful site Pete!

The locals look unhappy, scarified, and either petitely effeminate or atavistically ponderous—nay, elephantine—without much gray area between the two extremes. One can tell even from this small ensemble of pictures that the laramie locals are pretty much a polarized fifty-fifty split of either A) long-haired, dirty, diminutive malnourished hippie/climbing scum or B) hulking brutes with the hands of giants and the genitalia of tiny eyeless scat-eating grubs.
Lest we forget, there is a reason no one goes to “The Voo”: the park itself is only fifteen minutes from laramie, a known seat of human mutation.

I have gotten so much enjoyment out of these photographs. These are people I know—all of them. It’s great to see a photographer of your noteworthiness paying attention to the absolutely cool formations near Laramie, and it’s even cooler to see local dreadnaughts Bob Scarpelli and Jeff Wendt on them. I’d like to purchase a print of Jeff on the Buttress if you’re making them available. E-mail me, Pete! Additionally, let me note for other readers the truth in what Uncle Octo reports. I actually KNOW people with the genitalia of tiny eyeless scat-eating grubs. I’m so IN to that….

Ooops…I meant to say that I’m glad that a photographer of Epperson’s noteworthiness was recording these formations. Sorry!

Dear Dr,
You can contact Greg Epperson at greg@gregepperson.com. Remember, there are three volumes getting posted here and the images are not the best of the bunch – Greg is holding the best for publication…

So where’s installment #2? You know, some of us will be dead soon. Life is too short to wait much longer. What’s your excuse . . . you’re going climbing instead? At “The Voo?” I scoff. Phooey on the vooey.

Patience Jeff… uh, I mean Uncle Octo. You’ll be seeing more of yourself… uh I mean the fab five locals in a week or so…
